Alkemé is the pinnacle of both customized and luxury hair products. With our innovative diagnosis process, we custom make every client's perfect hair routine from shampoo to leave in product.
Our products will be offered in two formats, Botanical and Classic, each focusing on the different needs and values of our target consumers. The Classic formula includes high-powered ingredients from the top hair care production, meant to give the highest quality results in the shortest period of time. For our working professionals this line is perfect as they don't need to overthink or do too many steps to get their best hair yet. Then the Botanical line is made for our more eco-conscious consumers, who value natural, organic products. This line is meant for those who want the best results without sacrificing on their values or preferences, as well as viewing hair care as a ritual. Both product lines come with bases made for each curl type, to ensure none of our products are too heavy on the clients hair.
The focus of the Alkemé experience is our Diagnosis and Customization process. After a client decides their format and their curl type is identified, they will be asked a series of questions about their hair and concerns by one of our hair experts. After this, the expert will then use a specialized Hair Analysis tool to analyze the clients hair follicles to truly understand what each consumer’s hair state and needs.
Our first location will open in Miami’s upscale financial district: Brickell. This area is perfect for young luxury consumers looking for both a curated ritual and products that are scientifically proven to work. Surrounded by upscale shopping and dining, this area will allow the store to be conceived as a luxury experience before a client even enters.
The layout and styling of our store is made to create a cozy but serious luxury energy that makes the client feel comfortable but also confident in the process. The front of the store includes a check-in desk where every customer will be greeted by a sales associate. They will then have the process and options explained to them before they’re left to browse our product showroom to get an idea of their options. Here clients will also find our Information Tablet where they can browse the ingredients lists to see each ones’ uses and benefits. In the back half of the store clients will find our Diagnosis and Consultation rooms where those parts of the process occur. In the middle of the back area is our lounge, designed to be as cozy as possible while clients wait for their final mix. Here they can sit on our plush couches and drink complementary tea or coffee. In the corner of this room is our Mixing Lab, with its large glass wall so clients can watch our experts use special machinery to mix each product in the moment. On the side of the lounge clients will also find the refill station where they can pick up refill orders of their custom mixes.
The store will utilize a discrete membership system, so as to not potentially cheapen the experience with rewards points and membership tiers. Like many other luxury stores, profiles will be created of each customer, that will then be used internally to track service, event attendance, and purchase history to easily identify our most loyal customers. These customers will then have rewards offered to them upon visits to the location, instead of notifications being sent because of reaching set tiers. Rewards may include product gifts, early access to new releases or invites to special events hosted for our top clientele. This will foster brand loyalty without making customers feel like they're just the amount of money spent in the store.
Alkemé’s format is perfectly curated to be replicable in any major market with luxury consumers worldwide. With the streamlined product offering and premake serums for customization, products are easily housed in store warehouses. Our diagnostic tools are also quite small and thus can be used even in a smaller store space in more densely packed cities. The mixing machine is the largest component in the store, however because of the need for just one, its easy to configure its location to fit right into any store. All of the components of the store and brand are easy for the store to acquire, and are available internationally. When the store is translated into foreign markets, the general store layout can be followed but aesthetic changes to match the location’s culture are able to be made easily.
